Sprinkled throughout downtown San Diego, murals and street art fill the city with a splash of color.
With the recent protest in Downtown San Diego, businesses have boarded up their walls to deflect the looters who roam the streets at night. Since then, street art and murals have appeared all over town.
The boarded up windows make for a perfect blank canvas. Each piece is vibrant, the pops of color stand out against the muted colors of the city buildings. The beauty of it all? These murals are most likely temporary and will come down once business start to peel back the boarded up layers and re-open their business.
